Taffeta fabric is a light and soft polyester fabric which is used as a lining and as a fabric for outer wear for example in jackets, raincoats. Taffeta is a durable fabric with little index of shrinkage and good breathable characteristic. It dries well and creases slightly. Taffeta fabric is made of polyester or nylon fibers. This fabric is available with PU (polyurethane), silicon, WR (water resistant) and breathable finishings. Tafeta PU is often used for tourist's tents.
